As a Georgia native, I enjoy sketching around this beautiful state. I'm a beginning watercolorist. I've had very few art classes. Painting and sketching is my way to relax.
After 23 years of teaching I left the profession to work for an educational software company. I travel to different towns (mostly in Georgia) to train teachers to use our software. I have a fun traveling, meeting new people, and sketching along the way.
Keeping a watecolor sketchbook is a pleasure for me. It takes courage to share your work when you are not an expert. I won't get any better if I don't keep practicing.
Brenda Swenson shared in her workshop how people always compliment her and tell her how "talented" she is. She said that it took a long time and a lot of practice to develop her "talent".
Hopefully I am developing my talent!
