Gainesville has a variety of beautiful architecture. I spent a little time doing a study of the different columns.
Dinner and a Show...
The Atlanta Seafood Market is one of our favorite restaurants. This is an activity I completed while in a Brenda Swenson Workshop. It was fun to do.
Queen City of the Mountains...
Gainesville is called the Queen City of the Mountains. As you drive around the city you can see the beautiful North Georgia Mountains in the distance.
Gainesville Amtrak Station...
Built in 1910, the Amtrak station still serves passengers today.
The Times...
The first issue of The Times was issued in 1947. The paper hasn't missed a single run since then. Once the known as the Gainesville Daily Times, it serves Gainesville as the offical newspaper.
